A black tennis bracelet is two things that usually go wrong, in one piece.
The stones are the first. On cheap ones they sit loose, catch the light unevenly, and work their way out within months. These are 5A zircon in black, set individually along a continuous line so the spacing stays even when the bracelet moves.
The finish is the second. Most black jewellery is plated, which means a layer of colour sitting on top of the steel. It wears through at the clasp and the edges first, then it's patchy. Ours is PVD coated, so the colour is bonded into the surface rather than sitting on it. It doesn't flake and it resists tarnishing.
Black stones read differently to clear ones. There's less flash and more texture, so it catches light at close range and reads as a plain dark line from across a room. It's the quieter of the two.

Why we made it
Black jewellery has a reputation problem and it's earned. The cheap stuff looks good for a month then embarrasses you. The good stuff costs £300 because someone put a logo on it. We wanted a black tennis bracelet that holds up, without needing a story to justify the price.
